A network of groups throughout Scotland link the work of the Industry Leadership Group more directly with issues relevant to businesses at a local level.  These groups:

• Engage with businesses throughout Scotland, mainly through regular events
• Work with the Scottish Forest & Timber Technologies Leadership Group (SFTTLG) on issues of national importance and common interest
• Work with Scottish Enterprise and other partners to help businesses access support

The four regions shown on the map have a steering group comprising prominent industry representatives who plan activities and have identified local action plans designed to promote and advance our sector.

Events tend to be free of charge and are open to any individual or business with an interest in the forest or timber industries.  Further details of our events can be found in the Events section.

If you are interested in the activities of another region or perhaps working away from home, you are more than welcome to attend any meetings or events relevant to you.  Issues of national importance are covered by all regional groups.
