The Scottish Forest Industries Cluster, working with the Confederation of Forest Industries (ConFor), the UK Forest Products Association (UKFPA) and the Wood Panel Industries Federation (WPIF), has gathered evidence of key impacts on forestry and wood using businesses. 

Over the period of the report, business confidence shows signs of cautious strengthening with the consensus from respondents suggesting that business activity will increase over the period from to 6 and 12 months ahead, following a period of slower growth over the next 6 months.

The fourth survey to be undertaken in 2009, the September survey has been further analysed by individual country and segregated results for England and Wales, as well as those for Scotland, have been included in the report.
