Lantra consultation on Trees and Timber Modern Apprenticeship for Scotland

Due to the recent change in industry standards (National Occupational Standards) for Trees & Timber, Lantra is reviewing the Treework Level 2 and 3 SVQ Structures within the Trees and Timber Modern Apprenticeship for Scotland.

 

Please find attached the proposed Level 2 and Level 3 Treework SVQ Structures for review and comment.  I have also attached a document containing a number of questions we would like you to consider.  Please feedback your comments to the app@lantra.co.uk inbox.
Lantra is urging all employers and training providers to participate in this consultation, so please forward this e-mail and attachments to any employer contacts or colleagues.  It is critical that we get the views of the industry to ensure that the SVQ Structure and Modern Apprenticeship framework are fit for purpose.
All answers will be completely confidential and held in accordance with the Data Protection Act.  The consultation will close on Tuesday 28th August 2012.
Ros Burnley, Lantra's Partnership Manager for Trees and Timber industries will be working with Jo-Anne Bryan, Lantra's Apprenticeship Manager to support this consultation and liaise with industry, making sure the updated Level 2 and 3 TReework SVQ and Modern Apprenticeship accurately reflect industry needs.
