A drive to encourage firms to create 500 construction sector apprenticeships in Greater Manchester over the next three years has been unveiled.
Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce took the wraps off its new Construction Group Training Association which it has set up with local authority and industry representatives. The not-for-profit body aims to maximise the economic benefits for local firms from public and private sector investment.
This collaborative effort is seen as a vital step to not only secure the long-term future of our industry but to drive sustainable economic benefits in the region.
