Wood for good is the UK's wood promotion campaign. The Wood for Good campaign works on behalf of the whole timber industry in the UK. It aims to promote the suitability and sustainability of wood as a building material to the construction and logistics sectors and associated professionals such as architects and design engineers.
Wood for Good has launched the Timber Industry
The manifesto, which has the full backing of
the leading bodies in the timber industry, outlines why wood is
good for the environment, the economy and for communities.The Manifesto sets out seven
policy issues that they would like to see addressed by the
Wood for good have also put together a series of short
videos - where experts in their field outline some
impressive facts about wood. These videos demonstrate
how increasing the use of wood will have benefits for
the environment, the economy and the community.
