A new Planning and Job Costing Tool (PACT) is now available to help you produce accurate costings for potential work for your business, keep an eye on the profit, and readily see the impact of making various changes to your assumptions.

Developed specifically for establishment and maintenance contractors, this easy-to-use tool can produce costings for a variety of work - from restocking to spraying, beating up to brashing drains, and from dayworks to fencing.  And you don't need to be a genius with a computer to use it!

These FREE workshops run from 6-9 pm, (starting with a light meal) and will cover:

• Establishment & Maintenance Contracting - the future and the forest manager's view
• Self-employed, engaging workers, PAYE, and dealing with HMRC
• Customer relationships
• Negotiating rates, submitting tenders and contract terms of engagement
• Planning your Business Year and getting your job costing right

You will leave the workshop with a copy of the Planning & Costing Tool and guidance note. You will also understand where you can obtain on-going support in using the PACT.
