Timber Expo 2012

The 2012 show will reveal the widest and most comprehensive display of applications for timber within the built environment. It is and will remain to be the UK's leading event for the timber industry informing and inspiring by addressing the needs of today and mapping out the challenges of tomorrow.

    A series of Woodland Expansion Advisory Group Stakeholder Meetings will be held in February 2012. Anyone with an interest in forestry, farming or other land-based objectives is invited to come along to discuss and provide feedback on WEAG's emerging findings.

    Lantra accredited training programme in Forestry and Climate Change
    The first Lantra accredited 'Forestry & Climate Change' Training Courses to be held in the UK have been made possible by Yorwoods, the RDI managed woodland initiative, with funding from the RDPE funded Lantra Landskills programme. Two pilot 'Forestry & Climate Change' Training Courses will run in Yorkshire February 2012, prior to a national roll out.
